Hey there! I'm thrilled you're here, not because I want to talk endlessly about myself, but because it means we're building a connection, and that's awesome!

Let's rewind a bit to the Laurie on the photo on the left.

The 4 year old who needed her mom to take photos of her future teachers so she could familiarize herself with their faces during summer break. Without those photos, there wasn't enough courage to step into school.

Fast forward to today, and I'm a featured keynote speaker and TEDx speaker coach. My mission is to help entrepreneurs, coaches, and business owners use public speaking to supercharge their businesses. I'm especially passionate about those with big hearts who are ready to take their impact and income to the next level.

So, you might be wondering how a 26-year-old from the Netherlands, who used to be afraid to make eye contact, became an impact-maker. Well, it's been quite a journey!

I began my career as an innovation manager with STUDIO.WHY, working for corporate giants like Philips, the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands, and Google.

My role was to train employees on innovation, to think differently and solve problems independently.

A great opportunity for growth, but not where I could be 100% myself and help people with a meaningful missions.

You can see a fun video of me in action a couple of years ago!

Then, on a rainy COVID Tuesday night while watching YouTube, I kept seeing this American guy in my ads, repeating the question: "What if you could create a business 100% aligned with your mission?"

That's where my journey truly began—a journey of doing what's fun, meeting cool people, and creating real change for those who really care.

Ohh and by the way. That American guy was Dean Graziosi with whom I shared the stage less than 2 years later.

Some fun facts about Laurie

Some fun facts about Laurie

My grandma is the coolest. At 75, she took her first flight with me to Tenerife for a week-long holiday (you can see her in the sizzle reel).

I'm drawn to self-development. Brainstorming about how brain science influences communication is my idea of fun.

I'm a digital nomad, working remotely and living wherever I feel like it. I've called Spain, Italy, Portugal, Canada, and the U.S. home.

I'm not much of a writer, and I prefer short WhatsApp messages. I've trained my family and friends to send me videos instead!

Wherever I live, you'll always find peanut butter and yogurt in my fridge. I'm not a chef, but I'm a passionate eater and a dietician! That last one is what I studied at the University.

Sports = happiness! Cycling, fitness, running, you name it! Out of all the options, swimming stole my heart. While the Olympic dream has faded, my love for the water remains.

When I do things, I like to do them right!
For the past years I've been learning from Tony Robbins, Bari Baumgardner, Brendon Burchard, Dean Graziosi, Trent Shelton, Chris Harder, and Jesse Eker.
